ARCHIVE NOTE

This partial personnel record was recovered among miscellaneous administrative materials and appears to document an individual identified only as D. A. Schitt.

The name is consistent with one form known to have been used by Deepa Aster Schitt. The Archives do not consider initials alone sufficient to establish identity.

A handwritten reference to “Deep” provides additional support while simultaneously creating several new problems.

The notation “See D.S. file” has not assisted.

More than one individual identified as Deep Schitt appears in surviving family and institutional records.

Deepa Aster Schitt was asked whether the card belonged to her.

Her response has been preserved:

“If you found it in Unidentified Documents, apparently not.”

No further clarification was obtained.
