The Crock O. Schitt Historical Archives recognizes that the preceding Disclaimer may have created the impression that certain matters have now been clarified.

They have not.

The Disclaimer was prepared solely to explain that portions of the Archive may contain incomplete records, disputed accounts, questionable recollections, unsupported family traditions, unidentified objects, conflicting dates, unexplained livestock, and statements attributed to persons who are either deceased, unavailable, unwilling to comment, or goats.

Nothing in the Disclaimer should be interpreted as confirming the accuracy of the material the Disclaimer was intended to disclaim.

Likewise, the absence of a disclaimer concerning any particular record should not be interpreted as evidence that the record did not require one.

Some records may be substantially accurate.

The Archives are investigating.

Regarding Corrections

Corrections supported by documentation will be reviewed.

Corrections supported by family recollection will be considered.

Corrections beginning with “My granddaddy always said…” will be placed with similar materials.

Corrections involving goats require corroboration.

Regarding Responsibility

The Archives accept responsibility for preserving the records.

Responsibility for what actually happened remains under review.

Any resemblance between persons described herein and respectable members of the Schitt family may be coincidental, genealogical, or the result of poor judgment.

Final Clarification

This Disclaimer of the Disclaimer does not supersede the original Disclaimer.

It merely disclaims any unreasonable expectation that the original Disclaimer successfully disclaimed everything requiring disclaimer.

Further clarification may require an additional disclaimer.

The Archives sincerely hope this will not be necessary.
