The younger generation around Little Schitt hasn’t made much history yet. Give them time, they’re working on it.

Life around Little Schitt has changed considerably since the days of boundary disputes, questionable property surveys, and livestock taking part in local government … and yet some things stay remarkably familiar in a Schitt kind of way.

Hoarse Schitt, 20, son of Giva and Jed, has been dating Molly Bess Rowan, 18 [ROW-0005]. The two attended Prom together; Jed agreed to let Hoarse use the ‘nice’ car instead of the pickup. Molly remains locally remembered as the first member of her 4-H class to enter a mule.

Dawg Schitt, 22, has apparently caught the attention of Lenora Faeleen Mireille, 21 [MIR-0003], whom he knows from school. Family sources describe Lenora as being “pretty sweet on Dawg.” Talk that the relationship may be becoming serious has circulated, although Lenora’s parents, Felipe and Leona Mireille, have declined to contribute anything useful to the discussion. That we know of, no one has witnessed any arguments.

His younger brother, Bird Schitt, 20, pursued an ambitious 4-H project involving emus. Early reports were encouraging. Bird apparently had not anticipated that the birds would eventually become substantially larger than turkeys. Bird, only being 5’4” (but STILL hoping a growth spurt will show up), was no match for Ozzie at almost 6 feet and 115 pounds — especially when HIS original name was Emilia. You live and learn from that!

The project did not end as planned.

Chicken Schitt, 19, son of Dip and Loda, has recently been spending considerable time with Molly’s younger sister, Ashley Sage Rowan, 16, through their 4-H poultry project. Their current interests include pheasants and Japanese quail. She is a smart little lady — there is hope a little rubs off on Chicken.

And Fecilia Rose Schitt, 2, daughter of Bull and Pisa, presently has no known involvement with 4-H, livestock disputes, property surveys, or county government.

The family considers this encouraging.
